The HR Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring smooth HR operations, with a strong focus on benefits management, employee engagement, data accuracy, and HR systems administration. This role supports the HR team by managing key HR processes, providing excellent employee support, and driving initiatives that enhance the overall employee experience.

What You’ll Do:

  1. HR Systems & Data Management: Maintain and update HR systems with accuracy, ensuring data integrity and producing insightful reports to support decision-making.
  2. Benefits Administration: Oversee employee benefits programs, providing guidance, ensuring compliance, and enhancing the overall employee benefits experience.
  3. Employee Engagement: Develop and support initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture.
  4. HR Compliance & Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies, proactively identifying and addressing any gaps.
  5. Employee Support: Act as a trusted point of contact for HR queries, delivering clear, professional, and proactive communication.
  6. Recruitment & Onboarding: Support the hiring process, coordinate onboarding, and ensure a seamless new hire experience.
  7. Payroll & Records Management: Manage payroll processes and maintain accurate employee records in line with company policies and legal requirements.
  8. HR Projects & Continuous Improvement: Contribute to HR initiatives and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

What You Bring:

  1. A strong sense of ownership in driving HR tasks and responsibilities.
  2. Proven experience working with databases.
  3. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  5. A passion for employee benefits and engagement, with creative ideas to enhance the workplace experience.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software (desirable).
  7. Strong multitasking skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  8. A proactive, problem-solving mindset.
