HR Assistant – Group Support (Head Office)

This well known UK hospitality brand is looking for a highly organised and proactive HR Assistant to provide administrative and advisory support across group-level functions in a fast-paced, multi-site environment. Reporting to the Group HR Manager, you’ll be the first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries and play a key role in onboarding, compliance, benefits, and policy administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage onboarding and off boarding processes, including offer letters, contracts, right to work checks, and benefit enrolment
  • Track probation periods, contract end dates, and ensure IR35 compliance for contractors
  • Maintain accurate HR records, files, and systems; conduct regular audits
  • Support with payroll changes, employee lifecycle updates, and system self-service
  • Respond to HR queries, escalating complex issues where needed
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyse trends for improvement
  • Maintain headcount trackers and raise/track purchase orders and HR invoices
  • Support internal communications, policy updates, and structure chart changes
  • Assist in producing reports, presentations, and recommendations for leadership

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience in a busy HR admin or advisory role, ideally in a corporate or multi-site setting
  • Strong understanding of HR processes including starters/leavers, benefits, and compliance
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to advise managers and liaise with third parties
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Confident in MS Office and HR systems
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach with high standards and integrity
