Bayfields Opticians & Audiologists have an exciting opportunity for an experienced full time People Assistant to join our team based at our Head Office in Esholt for 40 hours per week. This is a hybrid role, 9am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday (3 days office based / 2 days home based) where you will be responsible for supporting our People Department with all administrative tasks and queries.

When you join Bayfields Opticians and Audiologists as our People Assistant, you are joining an independent business. Although we are national, we are not a huge chain which means we understand the importance of local relationships and the power of choice. We aim to deliver obsessively great service to each and every one of our clients which is at the core of what we do.
Due to the nature of the role, we need an experienced People Administrator who is confident and enthusiastic and has experience of working within a fast-paced People/HR team with good attention to detail and the ability to make decisions confidently and independently. You and the team are responsible for looking after all our practices currently 55 (one in Cork and 54 in England) and our Central Support team based in Esholt. You will support the People Business Partners in dealing with all internal queries, managing our payroll bureau, activities on our HR dashboard and providing reports or HR metrics as and when needed for the team.
To be successful in this role, you will be an excellent communicator, computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft packages (especially Excel) with experience of payroll administration and HR systems.
