The Role

As a HR Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our HR department. There are a wide range of HR administrative tasks which you will be responsible in delivering whilst providing excellent customer service to our colleagues. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will:

Responsibilities

  1. Ensure all employment offers are submitted accurately and in a timely manner.
  2. Be an integral part of the creation of new employees’ induction and onboarding process and take overall responsibility for necessary Right To Work checks and any other onboarding information required.
  3. Regularly maintain our HRIS, Workday, to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  4. Provide Payroll with monthly data following the collation of timesheets, overtime information and any other Payroll-related information to ensure all colleagues are paid correctly.
  5. Lead on all absence management ensuring information is accurate at all times in order to effectively manage absence within the business.
  6. Regularly maintain the HR filing system in line with data protection legislation.
  7. Provide monthly MI data as and when required as part of our commitment to continuously improve.
  8. Provide administrative support to the HR team.
  9. Become a subject matter expert on company HR policies and processes.
  10. Advise managers and employees on HR-related queries in a timely manner.
  11. Support people-related improvement activities across the business to support and drive engagement.
  12. Build positive and effective relationships with all stakeholders.

Knowledge & Experience Requirements (don’t worry if you haven’t got all of these; we like to develop and upskill our employees):

  1. CIPD Level 3 (minimum) qualification (or working towards)
  2. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  3. A proactive and positive approach with true customer focus
  4. The ability to work to tight deadlines
  5. Excellent all-round IT skills
  6. Experience of advising and supporting colleagues across various levels.
  7. An understanding of HR policies and processes.
  8. Experience of implementing processes.
