Here at South Thames Colleges Group, we are seeking a Human Resources Advisor to support recruitment and onboarding activities for staff and agency workers. Working closely with the Head of HR (Staff Recruitment & Onboarding), the Staff Recruitment and Onboarding Manager, and the Staff Recruitment Co-ordinator, you will perform administrative duties supporting the HR function and recruitment processes.

You will liaise with new starters and managers to ensure timely onboarding and provide information regarding start dates and compliance checks. You will ensure all compliance information is entered into Cascade and provide guidance on policies related to recruitment, onboarding, and compliance.

Candidates should have experience in HR administration, generalist, or recruitment and onboarding roles. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and prioritisation skills are essential, along with the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external contacts. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong organisational skills and proficiency in IT at Level 2/Intermediate level, including Word, Excel, Databases, and Outlook, are required. You should be able to create reports and adhere to systems and procedures. A positive, flexible approach and willingness to support broader HR activities are also important.

This role involves travel between College sites within the Group.

The closing date for applications is 9th July 2025, with interviews scheduled for 16th July 2025.

The benefits package includes 27 days of annual leave plus up to 8 additional days over Christmas/New Year, 5 days of Wellbeing leave, and other benefits such as pension schemes, subsidised facilities, and professional development opportunities. The package is pro-rated for part-time staff.

Successful candidates will undergo due diligence checks, including an enhanced DBS, references, online search, and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
