Contract Type: Full Time or Part Time

The Opportunity

A People Advisor will provide generalist support to our employees, involved in day-to-day HR activities, offering onsite support and advice to line managers and employees at various sites.

This role offers the flexibility to work from home one day per week, based on FTE hours, and can be undertaken on a full-time or part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental legislation, reporting non-compliances promptly.
  • Provide advice on HR policies, procedures, employment legislation, Performance Management, Capability, Discipline, and Grievance issues.
  • Act as a point of contact for stakeholders regarding employment conditions, salary, benefits, and employee relations.
  • Manage live employee relations issues proactively.
  • Assist with immigration issues, ensuring UKBA license compliance.
  • Handle long-term absence cases to facilitate timely return to work.
  • Support recruitment activities, including building job descriptions, raising requisitions, conducting interviews, and other requests.
  • Assist with reorganizations, redeployments, redundancies, and TUPE transfers.
  • Help prepare Employment Tribunal documentation.
  • Provide advice on complex compensation and benefits queries, including insurance claims and renewals.
  • Support HR projects and collaborate with stakeholders including clients and construction trades.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on relevant developments.
Requirements of role:
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time to various KAEFER sites.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a HR/People Coordinator role or similar.
  • Knowledge of UK Employment Law and Legislation.
  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience.
