Job description

We are currently partnering with a Social Housing association in Kent, who are recruiting for a HR Advisor to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

This is a full-time position with a salary band of £35,000-£40,000 per annum and the start date is subject to notice.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):
  • Supporting the HR team in providing a commercially focused HR generalist service to managers within the business.
  • Be responsible for the effective management of employee relations casework and deliver consistent generalist HR advice and support.
  • Ensuring the provision of excellent customer service to all stakeholders to maximise customer satisfaction.
  • Coaching, supporting, mentoring, and challenging managers in application of HR policies and practices, providing advice and guidance on HR issues which ensure local business needs are met.
  • Collaborating with the HR team to deliver pragmatic, bespoke, and business-focused HR solutions, while building strong relationships with managers and employees across all levels and departments.
  • Contributing to maintaining a professional, engaging, and compliant HR function, ensuring high-quality support and guidance on a range of HR matters and promoting best practices.
  • Overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and employment terms for various staff categories.
Experience required:
  • Experience functioning as a generalist.
  • Experience working with customers within housing.
