Job Summary

As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering effective HR services and support across the business. You will provide expert advice to managers and employees on a range of HR issues, including employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, and HR best practices. This role is ideal for a hands‑on, detail-oriented professional with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation
  • Manage HR queries timely and effectively
  • Monitoring and maintaining absence records, identifying trends or areas of concern
  • Co-ordination of staff changes in pay and conditions and leavers administration, including conducting exit interviews
  • Management of employee benefits schemes, to include pension, health insurance and commission/bonus arrangements
  • Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, and absence matters
  • Support the implementation of HR initiatives and strategic goals
  • Coordinate performance management processes and provide coaching where necessary
  • Assist with HR reporting, data analysis, and compliance tracking
  • Support the end-to-end recruitment process including drafting job descriptions, shortlisting, assisting with interviews, offer letters and promoting a positive onboarding process
  • Support the delivery of learning and development activities
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of HR policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data confidentiality
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives such as employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and wellbeing programmes
  • Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with company value
  • A proactive can‑do attitude, identifying opportunities for change and business improvement
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 3–4 years in an HR advisory or generalist role
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professional
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
  • CIPD Level 5 (or working towards)
  • Coaching and mediation experience
  • Experience in a fast-paced or high-growth environment
