  • Deliver commercially sound recommendations based on data insights, operational needs, and knowledge of employment legislation and relevant case law.
  • Support the HRBP in complex employee relations cases, including absence management, disciplinary, grievance, performance issues, and restructuring exercises.
  • Coach managers to effectively manage attendance, productivity, and team performance.
  • Design and deliver upskilling sessions for Team Managers.
  • Support Flexible Working Requests, Probationary Reviews, and Occupational Health Referrals, including all associated correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate records of complex cases within integrated HR, Time and Attendance, and Payroll systems.
  • Contribute to the annual pay review process and other ad‑hoc projects.
  • Interpret and analyse HR data to identify trends and support business decisions.
  • Manage day‑to‑day HR queries via the HR Ops inbox, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Coordinate logistics for HR‑related activities and initiatives.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and practices.
  • Support other client groups and HR team members during periods of high workload or absence.
  • Coach junior team members as required.
  • Undertake other appropriate ad‑hoc HR‑related tasks.
What you’ll bring
  • A passion for delivering excellent HR service and building trusted relationships.
  • The ability to manage a high volume of queries with professionalism, empathy, and resilience.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and influencing skills.
  • Confidence in handling sensitive issues with discretion and sound judgement.
  • A collaborative mindset, comfortable working independently and as part of a supportive HR team.
  • CIPD qualification (or part‑qualified / in‑progress) is desirable.
  • Emotionally intelligent with the ability to manage diverse personalities and differing priorities.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, constantly evolving environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored to a range of audiences.
  • Solid knowledge of employment law and an enthusiastic approach to remaining up‑to‑date.
Required Skills

  • Commercially aware with a proactive approach to planning and problem solving.
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to commute easily to the Datchet office, with a minimum on‑site presence of four days per week and occasional short‑notice attendance when required.
Benefits Include
