A leading compliance and energy services provider based in Scotland is seeking a proactive Human Resources Advisor to join their People Team. We are seeking a proactive and collaborative Human Resources Advisor to join our People Team within our Energy Services sector, based in our Bathgate offices in Scotland. The successful candidate will deliver HR advice, guidance, and support to colleagues and managers, enabling the business to achieve its strategic goals while maintaining compliance with HR legislation and best practice.
Employee Relations
- Provide comprehensive and pragmatic HR advice and guidance to managers and employees, to facilitate early resolution of difficult, complex or sensitive employee relation issues, ensuring that the risks associated with each case are managed in line with Company policies.
- Support and manage employee relation cases relating to disciplinary, grievance, sickness and performance cases. This includes providing advice to managers on policy, legislation, liaising with external bodies such as Occupational Health, supporting formal investigations and hearings
- Advise and coach managers on interpreting HR policies in accordance with Group, current legislation, to ensure consistency, accuracy and best practice
- Ensure timely resolution of employee relation issues by maintaining effective relationships with managers
- Support the Head of HR in change issues, such as TUPE and restructurings
- Manage all sickness absence cases in collaboration with managers to reduce sickness absence in line with the key KPIs.
Employee Engagement
- Lead on the employee engagement survey, ensuring feedback and results are shared and actioned.
Onboarding
- Take ownership of and lead the delivery of a comprehensive employee induction program, ensuring a smooth and engaging onboarding experience.
Reporting
- Produce HR metrics to provide detailed insights into the business, including employee retention, recruitment, turnover and producing solutions and trends analysis.
Projects
- Support the HR team in developing key projects to support the business needs.
