Role Summary:
The Human Resources Administrator (Fixed Term Contract) is responsible for assisting the full cycle recruitment process for positions in Canada and the United States, inclusive of interview scheduling, offer letter generation, and coordination of new hire onboarding. Additional duties include assisting with employment letters, validating training records, company event planning, and maintaining documentation within employee files. This role will require strong organizational skills and effective multitasking abilities.
Roles & responsibilities
- Assist in Canada & US recruitment for hourly & salary positions, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process.
- Coordinate recruitment process when liaising between candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers, and confirming all recruitment activities adhere to company and legal standards.
- Administer the onboarding process for new hires in Canada, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and filed correctly.
- Prepare and issue employment documents, such as offer letters, travel letters and employment verification letters.
- Validate training files, ensuring all employees have completed necessary training and that records are up to date.
- Participate in culture council initiatives when organizing company internal & external events.
- Maintain and update the company's document management and ATS system.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years HR experience in manufacturing environment
- At least 2 years' experience in production level recruiting and recruiting coordination
- At least 2 years' experience with HRIS/ATS systems
