A unique opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the Company in the position of HR Administrator.
This opportunity is suitable for someone wishing to start a career in Human Resources. The successful applicant will be supported through an apprenticeship, developing skills in generalist HR areas, and will receive coaching and mentoring from the Human Resources Manager in topics such as employment relations, HR practices, and procedures.
The successful candidate can aim to achieve the CIPD Foundation Certificate in People Practice.
Reporting to and supported by the HR Manager, the HR Administrator will undertake duties such as employee onboarding, preparing documentation for new joiners, maintaining employee records, supporting fleet administration, and assisting with training planning and record keeping.
Due to the sensitive nature of the data handled, the successful applicant must act with absolute integrity and confidentiality at all times.
This training role will be closely overseen by the HR Manager, with full support provided. The role offers a learning opportunity to develop HR skills with minimal supervision once competent.
Applicants should be self-motivated, proactive, and possess excellent communication and attention to detail. Demonstrating integrity, confidentiality, and discretion is essential. A willingness to learn and develop within HR is also important.
Good IT skills, particularly with office applications, flexibility, adaptability, and strong timekeeping are required. A UK driving license is preferable due to the location of the Head Office in Bradford and travel requirements. Prior experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
