Location: United Kingdom or Europe, 100% remote working

The Purpose of the Role

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Manager, HRIS to oversee our global HR systems, primarily focusing on Workday. This role involves managing daily operations, vendor relationships, and system optimization, as well as evaluating the future direction of our HRIS ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will possess deep operational knowledge of Workday, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate across different regions and departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Global ownership of Workday: configuration, maintenance, and enhancements
• HRIS operations and vendor management: ticketing, issue resolution, and main contact for maintenance partner
• HRIS system review and strategy: assess current platform and architecture, consider enhancements or transition
• Workday licensing and contracts: manage renewals and negotiations
• HRIS budget management: planning, monitoring, and reporting
• Stakeholder collaboration: work with HR, IT, and regional leaders globally

Minimum Requirements

• 5–7+ years HRIS experience with extensive Workday expertise
• Experience in HR technology strategy and vendor transitions
• Proven ability to manage global systems and vendors
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in global organizations across time zones and cultures

Technical Skills

Strong technical knowledge in HRIS systems, especially Workday.

Analytical and Decision-Making Skills

Ability to analyze complex problems, interpret data, and make timely decisions.

Collaboration and Change Management

Ability to build relationships across departments and manage organizational change effectively.
