Job summary

Babcock International invites applications for its Human Factors Graduate Programme in the Cavendish Nuclear business. The two-year rotation will place you on live projects across the full lifecycle, with mentorship and specialist masterclasses to help you develop a career in Human Factors.

You will gain experience in design, safety, and operations, aiming for Chartered status with the CIEHF. Roles are based in Warrington or Bristol, with some time at other locations as placements require.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Factors, Ergonomics, Behavioural Sciences, Applied Psychology, Cognitive Sciences, Systems Engineering, or Sociology.
• Security Clearance: BPSS and Security Check (SC) required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Work on live projects across the full lifecycle – concept, construction, in-service support, decommissioning and incident investigation.
• Rotate across different teams and projects to apply skills in real-world settings and broaden experience.
• Receive structured support, mentorship and access to masterclasses on communication and resilience.
• Pursue technical membership of the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors (CIEHF).
• After completion, transition into a permanent role within Human Factors and continue career progression.
