Job Title: Senior HubSpot Functional Consultant
Location: UK – Remote with some occasional travel
Contract Duration: 6 months (potential to extend to 12+ months)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the functional implementation of HubSpot Sales, Marketing, and Service Hubs—translating business goals into scalable configurations, workflows, and automations.
- Design and implement multi-brand structures using Business Units, permission sets, partitioned assets, and subscription types to ensure data separation while supporting consolidated reporting.
- Standardize and orchestrate definitions and processes across Hubs (e.g., lifecycle stages, SLAs, ticketing, CSAT/NPS, knowledge base).
- Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, ePrivacy, CAN-SPAM/CASL) across all forms, subscriptions, and data capture mechanisms.
- Oversee functional aspects of integrations (HubSpot APIs, webhooks, iPaaS tools, Dynamics 365, ERP, identity systems), working closely with technical teams.
- Manage SSO and email infrastructure including authentication protocols (SPF/DKIM/DMARC), shared inboxes, and brand domains.
- Define and deliver reporting frameworks—global and local dashboards, attribution models, data contracts, and contact governance.
- Lead rollout waves from discovery through hypercare—owning configuration, UAT, migration mapping, and process documentation.
- Facilitate workshops and manage stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Service, IT, and Compliance functions at both global and local levels.
Qualifications
- Recent experience (within the last 2 years) as a HubSpot Functional Consultant or Product Owner delivering complex, global, multi-brand HubSpot implementations.
- Strong expertise in configuring Business Units, permissions, sequences, automation, ticketing, knowledge base, and other core HubSpot features.
- Experience integrating HubSpot with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE, including data mapping, identity management, and cross-platform processes.
- Proven ability to manage compliance requirements (GDPR, UK-GDPR, etc.) and consent/preference strategies across large data sets.
- Background in piloting implementations and scaling through repeatable toolkits (templates, runbooks, UAT materials, hypercare plans).
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering within federated organizations or complex multi-entity environments.
- Familiarity with iPaaS solutions and HubSpot APIs; able to collaborate with engineering teams while owning end-to-end functional delivery.
