A healthcare provider in Wigan seeks a professional to handle patient bookings and queries. The role involves working on weekends, ensuring patient satisfaction through surveys, and maintaining communication with GPs. Candidates should have good organizational and interpersonal skills, with training provided for necessary systems. A minimum of Grade C in Maths and English is required, and flexibility is essential.
The role will involve , greeting and booking patients in on arrival at the hub site and patient satisfaction surveys. Full induction will be provided.
Our Hub sites are located across the borough & we have sessions available on :-
The above are at sites based - WN1 Standishgate & WN2, WN4, WN3. We also have other hub sites with overtime available across the Wigan borough.
Full Inductions and training will be provided.
The role involves booking patients in on arrival, Professionally deal with any queries as they arise and keep the GP's informed if any changes occur to the prebooked appointments.
To be confident with patients and professional at all times.
Ensure a handover is completed to your service coordinator if applicable and all keys & equipment are returned to the designated place.
Audit checks to be completed on every session and Patient surveys to be distributed accordingly to the patients on arrival.
Experience is preferred but full training will be provided on induction.

The Alliance has grown to deliver itscore services and extended its delivery to provide many more services andadditional support for the whole Borough, reacting when required to in time ofneed eg Covid-19 response.
We provide services across the whole Borough to anumber of fixed locations.
Demonstrate organisational skills with the ability to prioritiseworkload, work to deadlines and react positively to situations at short notice.
Willingness to work in a flexiblemanner as part of a team and to adapt working practices to suit the changingdemands of service requirements., for example supporting staff shortage andtelephony support.
Goodunderstanding of the NHS IT systems. (Training will be provided wherenecessary).
To possess good interpersonal and communication skills and anability to operate with diplomacy.
To have a good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook/ Office and itsapplications including experience of using Excel spreadsheets effectively.
Able to work successfully both autonomously and as part of a team;maintaining good working relationships and knowing when to refer to others.
To possess good organisation and logistical skills and apply ahigh attention to detail.
