Job summary

Pickfords Hub Operations Supervisor is a role based in our UK operations. You will assist the Hub Manager with live loading freight for onward shipping and oversee loading of consignments into shipping containers, ensuring documentation is accurate and safety standards are maintained.

The ideal candidate will have forklift experience, the ability to coach others, and a commitment to high personal and professional standards in a busy warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loading of groupage and baggage consignments into shipping container.

• Ensure Company instructions and standards of discipline, workmanship and safety are maintained at all times.

JOB PURPOSE

To assist the Hub Manager to carry out all functions involved with live loading freight for onward shipping

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee loading of groupage and baggage consignments into shipping container
• Ensure documentation is completed correctly
• Report any discrepancies
• Assist with weekly checks on equipment
• Adhere to operating practices
• Ensure Company instructions and standards of discipline, workmanship and safety anre maintained at all times.
