About the Job

You will manage and motivate a team of Warehouse Operatives by giving direction and leadership.

As HUB Manager you will be the driving force behind operational excellence. You will monitor performance across all sites, ensuring that every team member is empowered to achieve high performance levels. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, where the efficient and effective provision of a quality service to our valued customers is paramount. By promoting a collaborative, team-based environment, you will inspire your teams to consistently deliver and contribute to the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve high health and safety standards on an on-going basis and actively promote individual responsibility for health and safety
  • Oversee the physical appearance and safety of the working environment
  • Actively promote, take responsibility for embedding a culture of employee engagement within the team
  • Manage a team across several site
  • Manage the team delivery of Key Performance Indicators, where this performance is sustained and continually improved, with focus on quality
  • Ensure processes have a relevant standard operating procedure
  • Utilise continuous improvement tools and techniques and support team members in their application
  • Develop and maintain appropriate daily, weekly, and monthly reporting mechanisms
  • Lead daily team meetings
  • Manage the allocation of work on a daily basis, controlling headcount and overtime budgets and ensuring cost, quality and delivery targets met
  • Promote flexibility through skills training and personal development
  • Monitor team absence and performance, taking action where necessary
  • Create and maintain an employee engagement culture, encouraging involvement from all team members
  • Work collaboratively with other parties on site
  • Ensure security protocols are adhered to and the site is secure
About You

  • Experience of and technical knowledge in the Utilities Sector, ideally water
  • Proven ability in supporting delivery of operational KPIs
