A renowned educational institution is seeking an enthusiastic Campus Hub Receptionist for a maternity cover role at Telford Campus. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact, providing excellent customer service and managing communications effectively. Maternity Cover for up to 9 months
The Facilities Information Hub is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic team member to join the Facilities & Support Services Team as a Campus Hub Receptionist.
Based at Telford Campus, you will be part of a small but busy Hub team. As the first point of contact at the University Welcome Access Points, you will provide a warm welcome to all visitors and students. You will also deliver excellent service on the University’s multi-line switchboard and Estates and Facilities Helpdesk.
Applicants should be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, including English and Maths, with previous experience in call and data handling, and excellent written and oral customer care skills.
You should have a proactive attitude and enthusiasm for helping customers, possess basic IT skills, and demonstrate a commitment to quality. Flexibility to meet departmental needs and the ability to learn new skills, including liaising with caretaking, security staff, and Hub staff, are essential.
This position is based at Telford Campus and is a temporary 9-month contract to cover maternity leave, starting July 2025. It is a full-time role, 37 hours per week, from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
The University offers 30 days of annual leave (pro-rata), statutory bank holidays, and concessionary days.
