Overview

The Hub Barista will work in cohesion with members of the team, ensuring stock levels are maintained and equipment is kept in good working order. You will be responsible for ensuring that food safety and health and safety legislations are complied with. You will be customer facing, preparing orders and serving a wide variety of customers, from members of college to the wider public. This role is part time (24 hours per week), on an annualised hours basis.

  • Prepare and serve orders to customers
  • Uphold food safety and health and safety standards in all duties
  • Assist in contributing to a positive customer experience and smooth café operations
Qualifications
  • Experience of providing good customer service, identifying customer needs and finding ways to meet them
  • Level 1 in food safety and preparation qualifications, or similar experience
  • Ability to work as part of a team and also independently, using your own initiative
