Overview

Hub Assistant - Inverness, UK (Part Time - Tuesdays)

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the community hub, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service to visitors and service users.
  • Support the organisation and facilitation of community events and activities.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within the hub.
  • Manage bookings and enquiries, ensuring accurate record-keeping and effective communication.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with team members and external partners to deliver community programmes.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable manner.
  • Previous experience in customer service, administration, or community support roles is desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to community spaces.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and community needs.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in customer service, administration, or community engagement are advantageous.

Please note this role is Tuesdays only; it is a part-time role. Initially on a temporary basis, but it could lead to a permanent position. 9 am - 5:00 pm with holiday cover required; details in advance.
