Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Physics required.
• Experience with ANSYS is essential.
• MATLAB and Python experience desirable.
• COMSOL knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical analysis on coil designs; include static and dynamic, thermal and electromagnetic loads.
• Design support structures from materials to ensure robust magnet operation.
• Develop HTS magnet designs and mechanical models; validate with prototype testing facilities.
• Interpret test results and report findings clearly.
• Support R&D and project delivery with cross-functional collaboration.
