Job description

ISS are a multi-disciplined contractor with a service portfolio that covers track, trades, civils, OLE, signalling and telecoms along with trackside lighting and safety barrier fencing.


In this respect we are a forward-thinking business that has the ability to undertake large scale contract works delivering a variety of services such as structures, track drainage, earthworks and lineside infrastructure works under one umbrella.


We have established a network of offices across the whole of the UK where we pro-actively recruit from within the local community to fully support our clients on a National Basis.


Due to continued growth we are looking for a HSQE Support Co-ordinator to join our team.


Your role will be:
  1. Provide administrative support to the HSQE team and offices to ensure Internal and external HSQE Objectives, Targets and KPI's are delivered.
  2. Production of power bi dashboards providing information on HSQE performance, trends, learning points and outputs from site visits, audits and senior leader safety tours.
  3. Develop slide pack for HSQE Meetings ensuring all progress graphs are updated including KPI graphs in time for meeting.
  4. Minute meetings as required and send to all attendees, ensuring relevant discussions and actions are documented.
  5. Provide higher level administrative support to the Directors on driver behaviors.
  6. Take ownership for the roll out and successful delivery of the company IHASCO training program.
  7. Oversee the effective use of the SMARTbrief system.
  8. Take responsibility for the notification of vehicle accidents to the insurance, keeping an up-to-date tracker of accidents logged and providing additional information to the insurance as required.
  9. Take ownership for promoting health & wellbeing within ISSL and schedule regular health & wellbeing events.
  10. Respond to internal and external requests for business information. Provide accurate information formatted to the required standards in a timely manner.
  11. Support ongoing Development projects as required, directed by the HSQE Assurance Manager and HSQE Director.
  12. Carry out any other duties that may be reasonably requested.
