Job summary

Carlisle Support Services is seeking a Head of HSQE for a 3-month fixed-term contract to lead the development and continual improvement of the integrated management system and maintain external accreditations.

You will provide strategic direction, manage EL and PL claims with insurers, coordinate audits, and report to the HSQE Director while guiding managers and contractors on compliance and best practice across the organisation.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH in Health & Safety certification.
• IEMA Foundation Certification for Environmental Management.
• Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ACS and RISQ compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and continual improvement of the integrated management system and maintain external accreditations.
• Provide strategic advice to Directors and managers on HSQE obligations and changes in legislation.
• Provide specialist HSQE guidance to managers and contractors to ensure compliance across all operations.
• Coordinate external audits and drive corrective actions to achieve compliance.
• Collaborate with insurers on Employer's Liability (EL) and Public Liability (PL) claims and insurance renewals.

IEMA Foundation Certification for Environmental Management

ISO 9001 Quality Management System, 14001 Environmental Systems, 45001 Health & Safety Management Systems, ACS compliance and RISQ compliance
