Job summary

H9 Talent Solutions is partnering with a global independent renewable energy company to recruit an HSQE Advisor on a permanent basis. The role can be based from Glasgow or Kings Langley with occasional site travel, supporting HSQE across UK & Ireland, chiefly for Development and Construction.

You will work with value-streams to balance HSQE impact with cost efficiency, auditing, training, and continuous improvement, driving a strong HSQE culture.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent.
• Knowledge of UK & Ireland Health Safety and Environment legislation.
• Quality audit training such as UKAS approved or equivalent.
• Understanding of the construction industry.
• Understanding of behavioural safety programmes.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead HSQE Manager to ensure HSQE performance complies with legislation and policies.
• Provide HSQE advice to UK & Ireland business units.
• Undertake audits and supplier audits as required.
• Assist with development of HSQE management systems for continuous improvement.
• Review risk assessments, procedures, method statements and training materials.
• Analyse HSQE trends from incidents/audits and report findings.
• Undertake regular site HSQE inspections; location varies by risk.
• Conduct incident investigations and prepare workshop materials.
• Facilitate HSQE workshops and communicate outcomes to value streams.
• Collaborate with project teams to simplify processes and ensure clear instructions.
