Job summary

Ocado is seeking an Operational HSFE Supervisor to drive Health, Safety, Fire and Environmental compliance across our UK and global sites. You will embed a proactive safety culture, lead first-line activities with the HSFE Lead and operational teams, and travel across UK CFCs with occasional international duties.

You will design safety governance, deliver training, and contribute to audits and KPI tracking while maintaining clear reports to leadership.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of UK health and safety legislation and its practical application in operations.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, site audits, inspections and incident investigations.
• Proven ability to deliver H&S guidance to managers across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Design for Future: develop and improve the HSFE Management System.
• Drive proactive safety culture through training and site engagement.
• Identify risks with operational teams and design mitigation plans.
• Support audit schedules and KPI development for safety performance.
• Lead investigations into accidents and near-misses and track actions.
• Provide daily H&S advice to managers and coordinate responses to queries.
