Your leadership will ensure that we create a site culture that protects our employees, whilst safeguarding the environment. Utilising your expertise and dedication – you will ensure that health and safety and environmental issues are at the forefront of our operations.

As part of your role you will manage and develop the Health, Safety and Environmental function of the site. As the successful candidate you will be the management representative for HSER management systems as well as the point of contact for external stakeholders such as regulators and insurers.

This role will require you to operate 4 days from our Livingston site and 1 day from our Lockerbie site.

What we would like our candidate to have:

  3. Support the site leadership team in developing the annual HSE Plan and ensuring that objectives and targets are monitored monthly.
  4. Deliver technical HSER training, informing all levels of the organisation of their HSER roles and responsibilities, and developing the competency of the organisation to deliver.
  5. Support and coach all levels of the organisation in delivering the HSER objectives and targets.

  9. Lead the completion and maintenance of technical risk assessments such as PUWER and COSHH.
  10. Act as the point of contact for HSER communications with external organisations such as regulators and insurers.
  11. The ability to travel to other sites when needed.
