Job summary

BWSR LIMITED is seeking an experienced HSEQ Manager to lead and manage companywide SHEQ systems for civil engineering projects across Scotland. You will drive safety culture, ensure compliance with UK HSE regulations and certifications, and support operations in delivering projects safely, sustainably and to quality standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a SHEQ Manager in civil engineering projects.
Strong knowledge of UK HSEQ legislation and CDM Regulations.
Experience managing ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certified systems.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to influence safe practices and drive behavioural change on site.

Responsibilities

Lead development, implementation and continuous improvement of SHEQ systems across civil projects.
Ensure compliance with legislation and industry best practices.
Carry out site audits, inspections and incident investigations; implement corrective actions.
Advise management and site teams on risk mitigation and safe working practices.
Monitor incident trends and environmental compliance; liaison with regulators and stakeholders.
