Job summary

Network Plus is seeking an Operational Safety Lead for Water Utilities in Worsley. The role delivers specialist health, safety, environmental and quality support across UK water sector capital delivery projects, guiding design through commissioning with strong HSEQ leadership.

You will drive compliance, lead investigations, coordinate PCI/CPP tasks, and partner with clients and operational teams to uphold safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• CDM regulations and principal contractor assurance are required.
• Experience with construction phase plans and PCI coordination.
• Proven ability to lead HSEQ activities on water infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide HSEQ guidance and support to contracts and ensure CDM compliance.
• Coordinate pre-construction information and CPP development.
• Lead investigations, close corrective actions and drive safety improvements.
• Review and approve HSEQ documentation and management system changes.
• Collaborate with leadership to promote a culture of safety excellence.
