The Role

We have an excellent opportunity for someone looking to expand their experience in HSEQ. As a HSEQ Coordinator, you will provide operational HSEQ support to the Maritime Transport Division, ensuring compliance with HSEQ policies and procedures at all times, and promoting a strong HSEQ culture and safe working environment.

This is a fixed-term contract for 8-12 months, based in Seething with hybrid working arrangements.

Role Accountabilities

  1. Provide HSEQ support to Product Lines, projects, departments, worksites, and contracted personnel, ensuring compliance with internal processes, legislative, industry best practice and client specific requirements.
  2. Lead on near miss notifications and support all incident / accident investigations, including collation of evidence.
  3. Monitor and follow up all corrective actions for satisfactory close out.
  4. Maintain all HSEQ monitoring systems, including event and corrective action trackers for effective performance and trend monitoring.
  5. Create a range of deliverable HSE documentation and notices – as requested by Senior HSSEQ Manager, HR, and Regional / Departmental Managers.
  6. Provide support in the collation of data for the JFF Product Line.
  7. Conduct administrative functions, including minuting HSEQ interviews and meetings and reviewing HSEQ documentation etc.
  8. Any other tasks as and when required.

Knowledge, Qualifications And Experience

  1. Previous experience in a similar HSEQ/administrative role in an operational marine or offshore environment will be beneficial.
  2. Knowledge of international HSEQ legislation will be an advantage.
  3. Willingness to learn new skills.
  4. Great communication and relationship-building skills.
  5. Attention-to-detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  6. Ability to challenge conventional thinking in the pursuit of HSEQ excellence.
  7. Ability to work on your own as well as part of a team.
