Role Overview

In this role, you will collaborate closely with MBDA/ISS stakeholders to develop and manage HSEQ plans, fostering continuous improvement and a culture of shared ownership.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and proactively manage an account-specific HSEQ plan to promote continuous improvement.
  2. Support, coach, and mentor the operational teams to enhance HSEQ focus and foster shared ownership.
  3. Ensure compliance with the ISS UK Integrated Management System and client-specific processes.
  4. Implement ISS HSEQ programmes such as Near Hits, Safety Leaders, and Safe Behaviours.
  5. Collaborate with senior HSEQ management on developing systems like AssessNet.
  6. Assist local ISS management with incident investigations to identify root causes and actions.
  7. Drive environmental compliance, including managing Aspects & Impacts processes.
  8. Develop processes, training, and governance for Contractor Control to ensure adherence and continuous improvement.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  1. Experience in a similar HSEQ role with knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation.
  2. Experience as an HSEQ Consultant within Facilities Management.
  3. Ability to build strong relationships to drive positive change.
  4. Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 standards.
  5. Relevant qualifications such as Internal Auditor certification.
  6. Strong communication skills with the ability to inspire confidence.
  7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, reactive environment.
  8. Understanding of the link between operational success and compliance.
