In this role, you will work closely with MBDA/ISS stakeholders to develop and manage HSEQ plans, fostering continuous improvement and a culture of shared ownership.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and proactively manage an account-specific HSEQ plan to promote continuous improvement.
• Support, coach, and mentor operational teams to enhance HSEQ focus and shared ownership.
• Ensure adherence to the ISS UK Integrated Management System and client-specific processes.
• Implement ISS HSEQ programmes such as Near Hits, Safety Leaders, and Safe Behaviours.
• Collaborate with senior HSEQ management on systems like AssessNet.
• Assist local ISS management with incident investigations to identify root causes and actions.
• Drive environmental compliance, including the Aspects & Impacts process.
• Manage contractors by developing processes, providing training, and ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

• Experience in a similar HSEQ role with knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation.
• Experience as an HSEQ Consultant within Facilities Management.
• Ability to build strong relationships to drive positive change.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 standards.
• Relevant qualifications, such as Internal Auditor certification.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to inspire confidence.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, reactive environment.
• Understanding of the link between operational success and compliance.
