Job Title: HSEQ Compliance Auditor

As an HSEQ Compliance Auditor, you will be part of a central HSEQ Team responsible for one of our regional contracts, reporting to the Senior HSEQ Advisor. Your role involves promoting compliance throughout the business, escalating issues identified, and ensuring employees are aware of raised issues. You will also promote document control and system compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain detailed and accurate audit documentation and compliance registers.
  2. Track audit actions and ensure timely close-out.
  3. Produce reports for internal governance.
  4. Maintain safety and compliance standards, addressing issues immediately.
  5. Complete verification inspections and follow up on findings/non-conformances.
  6. Support accident and incident investigations, promoting quality reporting and closure.
  7. Encourage reporting of unsafe acts/conditions and positive interventions.
  8. Prepare weekly and monthly reports on achievements and issues.
  9. Communicate and facilitate the close-out of corrective actions from the Compliance Department and auditors.
  10. Compile accident/incident statistics and attend client meetings.
  11. Collaborate with the operational team to improve processes and systems.
  12. Promote safe behaviors on-site and in the office.
  13. Support training and competency requirements to ensure high standards of training compliance.
  14. Assist the Quality Assurance Lead with accreditations, supporting standards such as ISO45001, ISO9001, ISO14001.
  15. Support the business in achieving contract milestones and strategic plans.
  16. Be open to learning about the company's products and services to evolve within the business.
Experience and Qualifications
  • H&S qualification (essential), e.g., NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent.
  • EUSR Water Hygiene (desirable).
  • EUSR Shea Water (desirable).
  • IOSH Managing Safely (desirable).
  • Experience in Utilities or Construction sectors (desirable).
  • Full UK Driving License.
