The HSEQ Business Partner plays a crucial role in embedding and maintaining a strong health, safety, and wellbeing culture across all ISS UK & Ireland projects.

Job Description
Reporting to the HSEQ Manager, you will work closely with Key Account Managers, Key Account Directors, project teams, and the central projects PMO.
Your focus will be on ensuring full compliance with legislation, industry standards, and company policies, while actively minimising risk to employees, contractors, and the public.
This role is pivotal in driving a safe and healthy working environment across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct unannounced site visits to ensure compliance with method statements, risk assessments and safe systems of work
Review and approve project-specific risk assessments and support hazard identification and control
Lead investigations into accidents and near misses, producing RIDDOR reports and lessons learned
Deliver safety briefings, training sessions, and maintain up-to-date certification records
Update health and safety policies to align with regulations and best practices, introducing new procedures
Act as H&S advisor to project teams and liaise with statutory bodies during inspections
Develop safety KPIs, monitor performance and lead improvement projects
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Construction background with Tier 1 or Tier 2 experience, or maintenance fit-out experience
Comfortable working onsite and liaising with multiple departments and stakeholders
Strong communication skills
Professional accreditation such as MCIOB, MRICS or equivalent in HSEQ
