Job description

Key Responsibilities
  • Review risk assessments and conduct site audits to ensure safety policies and procedures are followed across contract sites.
  • Coach and support staff on HSEQ policies, procedures, and safe systems of work.
  • Generate detailed reports on audit findings, compliance levels, risks, and recommendations.
  • Liaise with external auditors, clients, and regulatory bodies to address non-conformities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focusing on health and safety performance and best practices.
  • Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and employees to promote a proactive HSEQ culture.
  • Advise leadership on HSEQ matters to ensure alignment with business objectives and legal compliance.
  • Provide weekly HSEQ compliance reports, highlighting trends, KPIs, incident rates, and non-compliance issues.
  • Monitor statutory and regulatory compliance, including CDM Regulations and Permit to Work systems.
  • Support in preparing comprehensive contract and management reports.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Experience as an HSEQ Auditor or in a similar role.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
