Compensation: £32,000 - £35,000 / year

Description
As the HSEQ Auditor, you will be responsible for undertaking risk-based HSEQ audits. You will include sub-contractor HSEQ standards within the audit plan, providing assurance that contractual requirements are being met.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for inputting into a non-conformance database detailing findings from audits. You will be required to provide stakeholders with visibility of all non-conformances and improvement opportunities.

You will have a passion for ensuring exceptional levels of health, safety, quality, and environmental standards are delivered; putting in place the processes and reports to continually monitor compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Play a vital role in the delivery of an effective assurance program to cover risks detailed within the HSEQ Risk Register and ensure compliance with Network Plus’s safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the completion of all external ISO audits and supplier/contractor audits.
  • Monitor non-conformances and escalate areas of potential impact.
  • Provide timely assurance audit reports complete with evidence and action plans to the Group HSEQ Assurance Manager.
  • Establish a robust assurance criterion to ensure effective contractor and supplier control.
  • Provide comprehensive management reports in line with the governance structure.
  • Drive the correct and safe behaviours out on site and within the office, leading on the active management of the Competence Assessment process.
Experience and Qualifications
Essential
  • Recognised Lead Auditor Qualification
  • Recognised Internal Auditor Qualification
  • ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001 Awareness
  • Working knowledge of SIPP and CDM
  • Experience in a similar HSEQ Auditor Role
  • HSEQ Qualification e.g. NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent)
  • Working knowledge of ISO 45001, 14001 & 9001
  • Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
  • Utilities experience
  • Working knowledge of CDM requirements
