Description
As a HSEQ Compliance Auditor, you will be part of a central HSEQ Team responsible for one of our contracts, reporting to the contract’s HSEQ Lead. You will promote compliance across the business, escalate issues, and ensure employees are aware of raised issues. Additionally, you will promote document control and system compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Review risk assessments and conduct site audits to ensure safety policies and procedures are followed across contract sites.
  2. Coach and support staff on HSEQ policies, procedures, and safe systems of work.
  3. Generate detailed reports on audit findings, compliance levels, risks, and recommendations.
  4. Liaise with external auditors, clients, and regulatory bodies to address non-conformities.
  5. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focusing on health and safety performance and best practices.
  6. Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and employees to promote a proactive HSEQ approach.
  7. Support leadership with HSEQ advice, ensuring alignment with business objectives and legal compliance.
  8. Provide weekly HSEQ compliance reports, highlighting trends, KPIs, incident rates, and non-compliance issues.
  9. Monitor compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations, including CDM Regulations and Permit to Work systems.
  10. Monitor non-conformances and escalate potential impacts.
  11. Support the provision of comprehensive contract and management reports.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Previous audit experience.
