Job summary

The HSEQ Assistant role at BMSL Group Ltd is based in Cardiff. You will support the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality function from our Cardiff office, with occasional visits to construction sites to assist audits, inspections and compliance activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction industry and admin/compliance roles.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the HSEQ Manager and wider operational team.
• Maintain HSEQ records and controlled documentation.
• Assist with audits, inspections and compliance reporting.
• Produce HSEQ statistics, reports and performance data.
• Administer supplier and subcontractor approval processes.
• Maintain subcontractor competency records, insurance information and accreditations.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain outstanding documentation.
• Support risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Support environmental reporting and waste management objectives.
• Undertaking occasional audits and inspections on construction projects.
