Job summary

Network Plus is seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to support one regional contract under the HSEQ Lead, promoting compliance and ensuring staff are informed of findings while maintaining document control and system compliance.

Responsibilities include audits, inductions, incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and driving close-out of corrective actions. You will liaise with clients and work with the on-site teams to improve safety practices.

Qualifications

• H&S qualification such as NEBOSH Certificate/ NEBOSH Construction or equivalent.
• IOSH Membership
• Underground (UG) operations experience
• Proven experience in Distribution Network Operator (DNO) environments
• Site-based audits and inspections capable
• Lead incident investigations with root-cause analysis and corrective actions
• Hands-on, willing to engage with operational teams on sites
• CDM regulations experience in utility/power infrastructure
• Full UK Driving Licence

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and compliance standards and address issues immediately
• Support operational inductions
• Verify inspections and close findings/nonconformances
• Investigate accidents and incidents and ensure proper reporting
• Report weekly and monthly on achievements and issues
• Drive corrective actions and interactions with client and auditors
• Engage with client and build strong relationships
• Support training and competency requirements on contracts
