Circet Northern Ireland is seeking an experienced HSEQT Advisor to support various projects and ensure compliance with Safety, Quality, and Environment Management systems.

This role involves assisting site teams and managers by identifying hazards, minimizing risks, and maintaining high standards of HSEQT, ensuring all legal obligations are met and continually improved.

Key responsibilities as HSEQT Advisor include:

  1. Developing the HSEQT Management system in line with OHSAS 18001 (ISO 45001), ISO 9001, and ISO 14001.
  2. Ensuring compliance with HSEQT statutory duties.
  3. Reporting on management system performance and recommending improvements.
  4. Promoting awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization.
  5. Supporting the delivery of the HSEQT strategy and continuous improvement across the company.
  6. Providing assurance through monitoring and intervention to ensure legal obligations are met.
  7. Supporting the development of Circet's culture amid organizational growth.
  8. Monitoring and evaluating HSEQT performance regionally, collaborating with senior management.
  9. Offering competent advice on HSEQT matters to staff and management.
  10. Ensuring all worksites comply with legal HSEQT obligations.
  11. Developing and implementing HSEQT initiatives.
  12. Setting and reviewing HSEQT targets, objectives, and KPIs.
  13. Completing Construction Stage Plans, Pre-Qualification & Tender Documents, Emergency Response Plans, etc.
  14. Monitoring and reviewing subcontractor works.
  15. Writing risk assessments and method statements.
  16. Conducting site audits and inspections, including external audits for ISO standards.
  17. Assisting with Occupational Health issues.
  18. Maintaining incident records and conducting investigations to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
  19. Monitoring working hours to ensure compliance with legislation and policies.
  20. Driving continuous improvement and promoting best practices.

Skills & Experience required:

  1. NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
  2. Degree qualification or equivalent.
  3. Extensive experience in civil engineering or telecommunications.
  4. Effective communication and reporting skills.
  5. Ability to meet tight deadlines.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  7. CSCS Card.
  8. A passion for Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality.
