We are working with a specialist engineering services provider who are seeking to appoint a HSEQ Advisor to support their operations across England. This is a critical and visible role within the organisation, offering the opportunity to join a high-performing team where you will play a key part in driving a positive safety culture, developing best practice, and ensuring compliance across a diverse and dynamic operational environment. As a HSEQ Advisor, you will work closely with operational teams, clients, and subcontractors to build alignment with high standards in health, safety, environment, and quality.

The SHEQ Advisor Role:
  1. Promote best practice and develop a proactive health and safety culture across the business.
  2. Conduct site audits and inspections to ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards, driving continual improvement.
  3. Provide technical health and safety advice to operational teams and support risk management initiatives.
  4. Lead incident investigations, identifying root causes and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
  5. Keep up to date with relevant legislation and support business-wide compliance initiatives.
The SHEQ Advisor Candidate Will Have:
  1. A relevant degree in health, safety or a related field.
  2. Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 management systems.
  3. Proven experience in a health, safety, environment, and quality role, ideally within a technical or operational environment.
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  5. A pragmatic approach to health and safety with a focus on delivering real-world solutions.
