The McDermott group is seeking an HSEQ Advisor based in Perth, Scotland, to uphold high standards in health, safety, environmental protection, and quality management.

Overview of the Role

• HSEQ Officer
• Holidays: 30 days, with 1 additional day per year of service (up to 5 days), plus a holiday buy-back scheme of 5 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain HSEQ standards and accreditations.
• Develop and monitor procedures within the Quality Management System.
• Provide guidance and training on HSEQ matters to staff and management.
• Conduct audits and site inspections to ensure compliance.
• Prepare health and safety policies and risk assessments.
• Lead in-house training sessions on QHSE topics.
• Maintain records of incidents, inspections, and audits.
• Stay updated with legislation and industry developments.
• Manage hazardous substances and emergency procedures.
• Ensure equipment safety and proper disposal of hazardous materials.
• Possess NEBOSH General or equivalent certification.
• Proficient in MS Office and risk assessment tools.
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.
• Must have full rights to work in the UK (IDLR or Settled Status).
