Your new employer...

West Recruitment is excited to be partnering with a market leader in public transport services in eight locations in Australia and New Zealand.

Your new role:

1. Ensuring that data entry is complete including incidents, injury, investigations and hazard reporting
2. Producing reports, including investigation reports and contributing to the development of corrective action plans
3. Monitoring corrective actions and reporting progress to ensure closeout
4. Escalating major concerns to the HSEQ Manager and management
5. Leading improved levels of safety, and supporting the retention of management system certification and accreditation
6. Completing internal audits

About You!

1. Tertiary qualifications in work health and safety and quality or a related field
2. Demonstrated understanding of quality and environmental management is desirable
3. Qualifications in auditing is desired
4. Experience in a transport environment is desirable
5. Experience in the development and implementation of work, health and safety systems is essential
6. Sound knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, regulations and codes of practice
