Job description

HSEQ Advisor - Up to 55K + 23% Pension, 25 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays - London - Hybrid (3 days in office)

We are seeking a highly motivated HSEQ Advisor to join one of the largest EV charging networks in the UK, with over 2,700 charge points primarily across London, and over 70,000 globally, targeting 150,000 by 2026.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, passionate, and hardworking, with support and training provided to promote a safe and productive environment. The role involves ensuring the development and improvement of Health, Safety, Security, Environmental, and Quality behaviors, aligning with the company's strategy, and maintaining compliance with legislation and group standards.

The area of responsibility includes overseeing safety for 40+ TCSUK personnel in their daily activities.

HSEQ Advisor Experience:

  1. At least 2 years of experience in a safety role with front-line workers
  2. NEBOSH Certified
  3. Development and management of HSE systems to maintain certification to standards such as ISO 45001, 14001, 9001, and other relevant standards
  4. Overseeing HSE-related audits (internal and external)
  5. Organizing annual UK internal audit plans
  6. Promoting an HSEQ culture within the team
  7. Developing safety plans and HSSE Management Systems
  8. Managing HSSE KPIs and performance reporting
  9. Providing proactive and reactive HSE advice, support, and guidance to ensure statutory and standards compliance
  10. Ensuring completion of mandatory training
  11. Maintaining registration with Safe Contractor and HSE
  12. Acting as a single point of contact for internal HSSE activities
  13. Owning the Global Safety Day initiative

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, professional, and an effective communicator, capable of maintaining high standards on-site. Strong problem-solving skills, organizational abilities, and teamwork are essential.
