Job description

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for someone to:

  • Ensure that safety and compliance standards are maintained, and any issues are addressed immediately
  • Complete verification inspections – follow up on closure of findings/non-conformances
  • Support accident and incident investigations, and promote good quality reporting and closure
  • Complete and encourage reporting of unsafe acts/conditions and positive interventions
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on achievements and issues identified
  • Communicate and facilitate the efficient closure of corrective actions raised by the Compliance Department and external auditors
  • Compile accident/incident statistics for supported contracts and attend client meetings
  • Collaborate with the wider operational team to maintain strong relationships and improve processes and systems where possible
  • Promote correct and safe behaviors on-site and within the office
  • Support contract training and competency requirements, ensuring high standards of training compliance
  • Assist the Quality Assurance Lead with accreditations and support standards such as ISO45001, ISO9001, ISO14001, etc.
  • Support the business in delivering milestones and strategic plans for the contract
  • Be proactive in learning more about the products and services offered by the company
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
  • Experience working in the Utilities or Construction sectors (desirable)
  • Full UK Driving License
