Overview of the Role

• HSEQ Officer
• Holidays: 30 days, with 1 additional day per year of service, up to a maximum of 5 days. Holiday buy-back scheme available for an additional 5 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage and liaise with HSEQ auditors to maintain company accreditations.
• Create, monitor, and maintain procedures within the Quality Management System.
• Provide guidance and training to employees on HSEQ matters to ensure legal compliance.
• Plan and conduct audits, report findings, and implement best practices.
• Ensure company processes meet their intended outputs and promote customer focus.
• Maintain the integrity of the HSEQ management system and conduct risk assessments.
• Perform site inspections and ensure compliance with legislation.
• Develop health and safety strategies and policies.
• Lead training sessions on QHSE topics and risks.
• Maintain records of inspections, incidents, and accidents, and produce relevant reports.
• Stay updated with legislation and industry developments.
• Manage equipment safety, hazardous substances, and emergency procedures.
• Advise on specialist areas such as fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, and occupational diseases.
• Qualifications: NEBOSH General or equivalent.
• Proficient in MS Office and knowledgeable in risk assessments, COSHH, RIDDOR, and DSE.
• Auditor training/experience is preferred.
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.
• Must have full rights to work in the UK (IDLR or Settled Status).
