QEHS Assistant

QEHS Assistant – (Reporting and Administration)

Hybrid – Pirin Court – E16

This role is to assist the Telent Transport Asset Management business in achieving the highest Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards in accordance with UK legislation, UK Directives, Telent operational requirements, and customer standards.

The QEHS Assistant will be mentored by the QEHS Manager to build their knowledge and experience by assisting operations with implementing processes aligned with industry best practices, minimizing injury risk, and promoting business efficiency through robust QEHS management systems and a strong QEHS culture.

Key Deliverables:

• Manage QEHS KPI Data and Reporting using the Microsoft Power Platform Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
• Maintain Planned QEHS Briefings using software such as PageTiger
• Collaborate with other Telent departments to enhance KPI reporting
• Participate actively in internal and external meetings
• Record and distribute minutes at QEHS meetings
• Develop QEHS knowledge, skills, and experience
• Support areas such as:
• Portfolio of works for assigned contracts
• KPI Gap analysis
• Incident Investigations
• Campaigns and Workshops
• Production of QEHS Documentation
• 8D Root Cause Analysis Investigation
• Assist the QEHS Manager and team as needed

Responsibilities:

• Administer QEHS KPI Data
• Monitor and report on QEHS performance
• Promote good QEHS practices
• Support internal and external client relationships
• Ensure compliance with EHS legislation and industry standards
• Assist operational staff with QEHS matters
• Implement QEHS policies and procedures effectively

Qualifications / Skill Requirements:

• Full knowledge and experience with the Microsoft Power Platform Suite and Microsoft Office Suite

The following are desirable but not essential:

• Knowledge and awareness of QEHS systems
• Experience working within Rail, Metro, or Road environments
