Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a proactive Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) professional to join our HSE team in the UK. The role focuses on administrative, coordination, and reporting support to drive HSE performance and regulatory compliance across projects and tender activities.

The successful candidate will work with stakeholders to implement processes, monitor KPIs, and contribute to continuous safety improvement within a global electrification leader.

Qualifications

• HSE professional with Management System and Tender support experience.
• Qualified to NEBOSH Construction level in HSE Management.
• Conversant with relevant ISO standards.
• Working to be a member of a relevant professional body.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost effective HSE support and advice to tendering and project teams throughout the life cycle.
• Maintain the business's legal register.
• Develop processes aligned with legislation and industry best practices.
• Provide internal audits for projects and departmental processes.
• Produce monthly HSE KPIs and management information.
• Identify strategies to improve communication, compliance and performance.
