Job description

Health and Safety Executive required to adapt and create suitable risk controls for innovative scientific investigations. The Facilities & HSE team support multi-disciplinary science, engineering and data analytics teams.

Skills:
  1. NEBOSH Diploma
  2. Affiliation(s): Tech or GradIOSH or CMIOSH.
  3. Degree or equivalent in a science, technology or engineering subject
  4. HSE commercial responsibility experience.
  5. Compliance driven sector; oil & gas, aviation, chemical manufacturing etc. would be advantageous and research environment exposure beneficial.
Responsibilities:
  1. Support the site HSE Manager across the full spectrum HS&E compliance delivery including:
  2. Inductions
  3. Contractor Management: Permit to work and LOTO
  4. Reports to support site safety groups
  5. Support the duty of care auditing of compliance driven services
  6. Support the pre-qualification and due diligence for contractors working on site.
  7. Take an active role in HSE groups and campaigns
  8. Compilation and retention of Waste transfer notes, packaging regs compliance etc.
