Job summary

Cummins Europe is seeking a Placement Student – Health, Safety & Environment in Huddersfield for Summer 2027. The role is largely onsite with some hybrid flexibility to learn how a global organisation operates and to gain exposure within the Components and Software Business Segment.

You will develop practical HSE skills, analysing data, audits, and trends to inform improvement plans while collaborating across functions to foster teamwork and drive results.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a degree in STEM, Business-related or other relevant subject; competence with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience of Power BI would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Data-Driven Improvement: Evaluates sustainability, environment and safety data to inform risk-based improvement plans.
